Been watching the awards shows this season?  As usual, the stars have been the mere image of perfection, with impeccably coiffed do's, flawless faces, and of course, the dresses on their amazingly sculpted bodies.  While their figures are stunning, don't be surprised if your favorite A-listers have had a little extra help with some form of bodyshapers.  Wacoal Shapewear and Wacoal Intimate Apparel, a fave among stars like Rihanna, Charlize Theron, Rachel Bilson, Katherine Heigl and Jenna Fisher have put together a few selections of what works with what type of dress.  The good news?  Wacoal isn't just available for celebs.  Visit their website (wacoal-america.com) for a full selection!

For her Giorgio Armani Privé gown, Anne Hathaway could have chosen the revolutionary iPant (with anti-cellulite technology), available for $60 in black or nude:

For a strapless gown like Jennifer Lopez's Zuhair Murad, choose the Embrace Lace Strapless Push-Up for $50:

Lea Michele wowed fans in her Oscar de la Renta.  For a shapely derriere, choose the Shaping Up Shape Brief for $45:

For the House of Dereon Couture dress Beyonce wore to the 2009 Oscar's this Halo Lace Convertible Strapless Bra for $42 would be a wise selection:

Jessica Lucas Eyes, Courtesy Brett Freedman

She's a beauty for sure and below Brett Freedman shares exactly how to get starlet Jessica Lucas' eyes, as he did them for the Big Momma's House: Like Father, Like Son premier. Click the screen below for the video!

If you don't have time to watch the video, here are Brett's highlights:

Your kit should include –
  • MAC eye shadow: Blackberry, Print and Nylon
  • Jemma Kidd School liner in Kingfisher
  • MAC Smolder eyeliner
  • eye shadow brushes: a medium size and a smaller, tighter brush
  • Vanitymark Ultra-Brow pencil in Milk Choco
Lightly fill in the brows behind the brow hairs. Use a brow pencil that’s one shade lighter than hairs for the most natural look. For Jessica’s coloring, Vanitymark’s Ultra-Brow pencil in Milk Choco (a medium chocolate brown) works perfectly.
Take MAC Blackberry, a neutral plum shade and apply deep into the crease of the lid, lightly up into the brow area and underneath the eye. Carry the color to the outside corner of the eye and let the colors meet there.
Using a small brush, apply MAC Print, a matte charcoal shadow as an eyeliner, keeping it tight to the lower lashline and carrying the line out and up.
Highlight the brow bone under the arch and the inner tear duct with MAC Nylon, a champagne shimmer.
Now for the edgy part. Use Jemma Kidd School eyeliner in Kingfisher as a cream shadow and brush onto the lid, making the color stronger near the lashline. Brett loves this color – it’s the perfect khaki green and even has a hint of metallic sheen.
For the finishing touch, apply a hint of MAC Smolder eyeliner to the upper and lower lash line, Ardell individual lash falsies and L’Oreal Voluminous mascara.

Get your Spring Bikini Body!

Guess what ladies?  Spring is around the corner, and if you've spent the winter hibernating and turning flabby, it's time to start thinking "bikini body!"

John Hall, Healthy Lifestyle Coach and Celebrity Trainer offers the below tips for our trouble zones, assuring flab to fab by the time you hit the beach!

1) For a shapely butt, do kettle ball swings, lunges, squats, and glute bridges; also thrown in some sprints to keep the look lean.  These exercises will help tone and lift your butt.

2) To keep your stomach flat, planks and side planks are the key.  The goal is to be able to keep that position for two minutes.

3) Shoulders and toned arms are formed with overhead shoulder press, lateral raises, and posterior raises, throw in a few sets of hand walks up to complete the sculpting of your arms.

If you're in the Chicago area, be sure to hit up Hall's Bikini Bootcamp class for just $10 per class to help with these tough areas.  The Bootcamp is Saturdays at 10:30 a.m. at 2116 W. Grand Ave. in Chicago.  Follow John at http://www.chicagonow.com/blogs/no-membership-required/or by visiting www.JohnHallStudios.com.

Nail Neutrals from JESSICA®

Looking to update your nail color?  Well, you might want to temporarily say goodbye to brights and replace them with...NEUTRALS!  The latest JESSICA® collection, Runway Style, is full of statement making neutrals sure to make your nails just as fashionable as your wardrobe.  Available this spring for $7.50 per colour.

Grey is the New Black, and That’s a Fact!
Move over black, there is a new go-to nail polish that compliments any outfit: grey! When trying this trend, it is wise to adopt grey polish in both its metallic and glittery glam variations. Try an iridescent grey such as JESSICA Nail Colour in Coquette.

Shimmer and Glisten this Spring
If you are looking for a soft hint of color that still makes a delicate statement, opt for a pretty neutral polish with shimmer that you can wear every day, with everything! Try a shimmery white such as JESSICA Nail Colour in Goddess or glistening beige such as JESSICA Nail Colour in Temptress of the Sea

Pretty in Pink with Neutral Pastels
Looking for a polish that will really make your skin shine? Go for a pretty pastel pink polish such as JESSICA Nail Colour in Alluring Creature to make your pointers pop against your glowing skin.

I love this neutral nail trend, but what do all of you think?
